I spent hours and hours researching on the internet and kept coming back to Unique Weddings Rhodes. From the very beginning Beverley had my full confidence that she would help create our perfect day. It sounds like such a cliche but it really was perfect (even my Husband says so) and that’s down to Beverley and her fabulous team.
She is a perfectionist. If there is a twig out of place she will see it and fix it. I mean that quite literally. She will only work with people she trust and I honestly cannot sing her praises enough. All the planning that fell into her domain was stress free. Everyone needs a Bev in their lives when planning a wedding.
The preparation was so easy. Beverly would email the options available and be at hand for all my many questions and even though I was annoying myself, I didn’t seem to be annoying her! The legal side can sound quite daunting at first, but if you follow Beverley’s instructions you won’t have any issues. They are clear and simple, thank goodness.
I used their recommended hair and MUA and she was fantastic. Not just in what she did but also a genuinely lovely person who also helped keep everyone calm. Everyone commented how my hair and makeup was perfect for the occasion and for Me. And it lasted!
We chose Kallithea Springs for our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful. Certainly has the wow factor. While we continued to have our photos taken our guest were able to relax and have drinks at the beach bar. They enjoyed it so much that a few of them went back later in the week.
From there we traveled over to Rhodes Old Town for our reception at Alexus 4 Seasons. We walked through the town with our guest to the the restaurant. This place again has the wow factor! I had been undecided at first but with Bev’s help I went for it. And I’m so glad I did! The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the harbour and castles. We cut the cake and had our first dance up there, then moved down to the garden terrace which was just lovely. We even had butterflies fluttering around us. The perfect setting for what we wanted. There were 27 of us in total so we had the tables set out in a square so we could all talk during the meal. The meal…….yum!! The food seemed to just keep on coming and it was delicious! Even the salad tasted like a real treat.
We hired the Greek DJ. He was brilliant. He even got everyone up to do some Greek dancing with him. We were terrible…..but he was brilliant. He had people on the dance floor all night.
Photography/videography: They were fantastic. Really natural and perfectly balanced, capturing the moment, the scenery and the people. I love them all!! The photographer has a brilliant sense of humour and managed to capture some photos that are truly Unique!! I’ll never forget the little Greek lady. She’s going in my family album. I am so glad I decided to have the ceremony recorded. It’s so much more than I expected! These guys are enthusiastic and clearly enjoy what they do.
P.S. We had never been to Rhodes before. But We’re going back!
