Our wedding day was as perfect as we had imagined it would be.
We chose the island, we chose the setting, and we largely knew what we wanted to do on the day, and in order to facilitate those plans, we chose Beverley at Unique Weddings Rhodes as our wedding planner.
The whole process was smoothly organised by Beverley and her team and while we were back in England fretting, she was calmly putting the whole process for our special day into place.
As the Unique Weddings Rhodes Facebook page points out under hours of business it’s ‘Always Open’.
We travelled to Faliraki a year before our wedding to meet with Beverley and discuss our requirements, and upon our return to England we were always in touch with her.
And when we returned to get married she met us to finalise everything. And despite my concerns – mainly borne out of ignorance – Beverley allayed those concerns in minutes.
Yes, it is daunting getting married. This is possibly increased when getting married abroad, when your lack of local knowledge can seem a barrier to progress. That’s where Beverley comes into her own. She has the local knowledge, she has the contacts, she has the skills and she has the serene and calming influence that is a blessing when you’re feeling stressed out by it all.
Having been there and done it – so to speak, if you are worrying or concerned about any aspect of your wedding, just get on the phone to Beverley or send her an email and she will put your mind at rest by dealing with your query as smoothly, quickly and efficiently as possible.
We had a few what some people may consider to be ‘unusual’ requests, but nothing was too much for Beverley, and she never flinched at these requests and nothing was ever too much trouble. Even arranging for the groom to arrive at the venue by paragliding in was quickly sorted out. A venue for a reception right on the beach? No problem. Sorted. A Champagne boat trip for all the guests? Done.
From the venue to the photography, through the hairdresser, flowers, transport and video, all the way to the boat trip, the violinist, the accordianist, the reception, the cake and all things in between, the day was a triumph.
In short, it all went perfectly on the day and we had the wedding we had dreamt of.
So relax, allow Beverley to do her thing and your wedding will be everything you both wish it to be.
